Şibli Güneş was born in 1976 in Erzurum, Turkey. After completing his primary and secondary education in Erzurum and Istanbul, he graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Political Science, Department of Public Administration in 1998.
He began his career in 2002 as a Tax Inspector Assistant at the Ministry of Finance. He continued to work as a Tax Inspector in 2006. Until 2011, he served as the VDK Group Manager at the Ministry of Finance. In 2013, he started working as a Sworn-in Certified Public Accountant and also works as an independent auditor. He has worked as a partner and independent auditor at CK Independent Audit and CPA Inc. and Beyaz Independent Audit Inc.
As an expert trainer, Şibli Güneş has provided accounting, tax, and audit courses under EU projects. He has also taught audit courses in preparation for the CPA exams, tax and accounting courses for the Ministry of Finance Tax Inspector Qualification, tax law courses for the Ministry of Finance Income Expert Exam, and Tax Practice Courses organized by the Certified Public Accountant Chambers.
Şibli Güneş has published more than 150 articles in the field of tax and accounting. He has also published the books "Basic Tax Guide and Audit" (2011) and "Errors Made in Tax Practice and Special Topics" (2009). Şibli Güneş continues to work as a Sworn-in Certified Public Accountant and Independent Auditor.
